Rewards Day
Monthly rewards can be a great way to motivate and encourage children towards their set goals for the month. However, using them carefully and thoughtfully ensures they are practical and don’t backfire.
This monthly outing in the hills is an excellent reward gift for children from the village because they love spending time outdoors and exploring nature. We use rewards to reinforce positive behaviours we want to see more of, such as completing homework or showing kindness to others.
It is essential to encourage hard work and praise the child’s effort and progress, even if they don’t achieve the desired outcome. The consistency in offering these rewards makes the child understand what they need to do to earn them.
Learning Circles
Learning circles are an effective way to engage children in learning in a fun and interactive way. They create a safe and collaborative environment where children can learn from each other, share their ideas, and work together towards a common goal.
Our learning circles happen every third day and help children develop essential social and emotional skills such as communication, empathy, and teamwork. In our learning circle, children share two goals they have set to achieve for the week and promote active participation in setting goals with each other. This activity helps develop a love of learning and a desire to explore new ideas and concepts.
